Jordan’s Income and Sales Tax Department has reiterated the importance of the National Electronic Invoicing System as an electronic reference for financial and commercial transactions, supporting invoice verification and audit procedures.

This update does not introduce a new law, tax-rate change or additional deadline. It nevertheless reflects the continued focus on accurate, verifiable electronic invoices.

What should companies review?
• Completeness and accuracy of invoice data.
• Integration of Odoo or the accounting system with invoice-issuance procedures.
• Reconciliation of invoices with accounting records and sales tax returns.
• Document retention and approval workflows that support audit readiness.

Kayan Advisory helps companies conduct a practical review of Odoo, invoicing and sales tax processes, identify gaps and define the actions required to strengthen readiness and compliance.
